Balance Changes/Plants

A lot of natural resources have been altered to make gathering food harder or making certain plants no longer grow in winter, and some even fight back.

Trees smolder during winter before starting to burn and have reduced burning duration.
Totally Normal Trees have root attack when they are chopped, similar to Poison Birchnut Trees.

Harvest Nodes[edit | edit source]

Berry Bushes generate 40% less frequently, and have a chance to spawn a Bush Crab when dug.
Cacti no longer grow in winter.
Carrots generate 25% less frequently.
Juicy Berry Bushes generate 40% less frequently.
- They also yield one less batch of berries on average before needing to be fertilized.
Stone Fruit Bushes Halved growth time in every other season.
Red Mushrooms generate 30% less frequently.
Green Mushrooms generate 35% less frequently.
Blue Mushrooms generate 40% less frequently.
Chopping Mushtrees during the off-season drops Spores instead of Caps.
Banana Bushes no longer grow in Winter.
