Depths Viper

The Depths Viper is a hostile Mob that can naturally spawn in the Stalagmite Terrain Biome. They also appear in periodic Worm attacks during Autumn and Summer. Depths Viper have the same stats as Depth Worms with one difference, they spawn Writhing Apparitions.
When killed, Depths Viper will always drop 4 Monster Meat and 1 Gloomberry.
After attacking they will spawn a Writhing Apparition somewhere in front of you, to assist in killing you. After some time the Writhing Apparition will disappear, but they can also be killed. They will usually max at around 3 Apparitions, because of how slow they attack.
Writhing Apparition[edit | edit source]
The Writhing Apparition are spawned from the Depths Viper. They appear as smaller shadow version of the Depths Viper.
Despite Looking like Nightmare creatures, they are not, and do not follow the same rules.
They have no drops.
The Viperling is summonable by eating a Gloomberry or Gloomberry Jam. They are slightly different from their enemy counterpart.
- They are Friendly to the player and will follow and help in combat.
- They are invincible and instead will disappear after some time.
Tips[edit | edit source]
- Getting overwhelmed can happen very easily, so getting rid of the Depths Viper as soon as possible would make fighting the rest of the wave easier.
