Monster Morsel is a Food item that replaces regular Monster Meat when killing certain "small" monsters. Where Monster Meat would not have otherwise dropped by killing small creatures, killing small monsters drop their special resources.
Monster Meat is toxic and will reduce Health and Sanity when consumed, with the exception of Webber, who will not take any penalties upon consumption. Like Monster meat, using a Monster Morsel in a crock pot will result in Monster Lasagna unless normal meats are used to dilute it.
See Crock Pot for more information about how cooking monster products works in Uncompromising Mode.

Cooked Monster Morsel is Monster Morsel that has been cooked on a Campfire, Fire Pit or Star.
Mobs that ordinarily drop Monster Morsel and die from being set on fire, will drop a Cooked Monster Morsel instead. While cooking Monster Morsels on a Campfire/Fire Pit doesn't do anything about its monster value, drying it on a Drying Rack to make a Small Monster Jerky reduces its monster value.
Usage[edit | edit source]
Monster Morsel can be used as bait for meat-eating creatures, such as Spiders or Buzzards.
Giving Monster Morsel to a Pig will befriend it. When 4 pieces of Monster Morsel are fed to a Pig, it will transform into a Werepig and become hostile. Note that Werepigs always drop 2 Meats and 1 Pig Skin. This way monster morsel can be effectively turned into Meat and Pig Skin.
Cooked Monster Morsel or Small Monster Jerky can be fed to caged birds to produce Monster Eggs.
Some animals are carnivorous or omnivorous and will eat Monster Morsel. If they are not immune to the negative effects of Monster Morsel, eating it causes them to lose Health. This allows an abundance of Monster Morsels to be converted to other resources by simply feeding these animals with Monster Morsel as if they were regular Monster Meat.
In a pinch, Monster Morsel can be eaten to stay alive, at a cost.

Tips[edit | edit source]
- Cooked Monster Morsels have lower monster value than uncooked ones, making them more viable to be used in Crock Pot dishes without resulting in Monster Lasagna
- 4 monster morsels can be "traded" for 2 regular Meat and a Pig Skin by giving them to a Pig and killing the resulting Werepig.
- Wigfrid will take 25% less damage from eating it, resulting in only 11,25 damage.
- Wormwood and Webber are entirely immune to the damage caused by eating it.
- Woodie can still transform into one of his Wereforms randomly by eating 2 cooked monster morsels in quick succession, this will cost you -20
and -10
, a possibly good alternative to his Kitschy Idols, that deals -15
and -20
when eaten.
