Unimplemented Features
| The content of this page does not represent content that will be added to the mod. These are simply findings in the files of the mod. |
The following unimplemented features have a reference in the artwork and/or source code of Uncompromising Mode.
- For features that were once implemented and have since been removed, see Removed Features.
Creatures[edit | edit source]
Armed Trapdoor Spider[edit | edit source]
Made as a joke, Trapdoor Spiders currently have a gun inside their sprite sheet.
Corvus Death[edit | edit source]
After the release of the first Midsummer Cawnival, Corvus Goodfeather was supposed to be made killable and drop the Corvus Hat. This was not added because of the fact that Corvus always respawns after being removed, and overwriting his file could cause crashes and mod compatibility issues.
Gator Snake[edit | edit source]
It's a combination of Alligator and Garter Snake, supposed to work like a Depths Worm, but for the Swamp. There's supposedly 2 concept arts that were never publicly shown.
Haul Hound[edit | edit source]
The Haul Hound was a proof of concept for a new Hound type that would have similar function to the Varglets in Hound Waves. It would've had the special ability of grabbing Pigmen (and possibly other hunched back creatures) and tossing them around, as tested in the animation made for it. The name "Haul Hound" is based on Klei's old Concept Art of a "Howl Hound".
Lait Leeches[edit | edit source]
Red Mushdrake[edit | edit source]
- The original idea post by Nick on Discord for Mushdrakes.
Lureplague Pig[edit | edit source]
A Pigman affected by the Lureplague.
Lureplague Rat[edit | edit source]
A Rat affected by the Lureplague.
Ram Branch[edit | edit source]
The Ram Branch was a Boss monster concept made by SomeFukinPeep that was planned, and even announced, to be the new seasonal boss of Spring, but it was later replaced by Mother Goose when the Fight And Flight update came out. An incomplete version of the Ram Branch can still be spawned via console commands, using the code "rambranch". In-game it takes a form of a Toadstool, but with 6000 Health and only 2 attacks, one where it releases a group of Sheeplets that attacks the player, and another where it spawns Sporecaps, which work mechanically the same as Toadstool's in their fight. After being killed, the Ram Branch crashes the game.
Sheeplet[edit | edit source]
The Sheeplet is an unimplemented hostile mob that can be spawned by the Ram Branch or via console using the code "sheeplet". The Sheeplet uses the same attack, sounds and similar animations to Birchnutters.
Shambler[edit | edit source]
See: The Screecher Unimplemented Features
The Shambler is an Unimplemented Feature from The Screecher. In Uncompromising Mode, it was going to be utilized as a unique Veteran's Curse effect as part of the Veteran's Curse Rework that included optional challenges obtained from Character Skulls. The curse from Maxwell's Skull would be a slow moving Shambler that would perpetually follow the cursed player, and instantly kill them if it reached close enough to touch them.
Snapper Turtle[edit | edit source]
–Wurt
The Snapper Turtle is an unimplemented Mob that would've spawned in the Swamp. It can be spawned via console using the code "snapperturtle". The art was made by Variant.
|
Whippersnapper Turtle[edit | edit source]
–Wurt
The Whippersnapper Turtle is a baby variant of the Snapper Turtle that also goes unused. They can be spawned via console using the code "snapperturtlebaby". Despite being a smaller, younger version of the Snapper Turtles, Whippersnapper Turtles have the same damage and health as their adult forms. The art was made by Variant.

Toadling[edit | edit source]
See: Toadling
Vacation Wee MacTusk[edit | edit source]
The Vacation Wee Mactusk is a reskin of the Wee MacTusk, but for Summer. It was planned to be used alongside Vacation MacTusk, spawning in camps during Summer. Art was made by Scrimbles.
Voorhams[edit | edit source]
See: Halloween Pig or Jiaolian
The Voorhams is an unimplemented mob made by Klei that was gonna be used in the mod for Night Terrors. It can be spawned via console with the code "voorhams". It has 500 Health, does 51 Damage and has -25/min Sanity drain.
Structures[edit | edit source]
Cinnamon Tree[edit | edit source]
The Cinnamon Tree was a plant that would've had the ability to be shaved with a Razor to give the player its bark. It was meant to be a solution to Hay Fever, similar to Rice.
Geyser[edit | edit source]
See: Krissure
Hooded Ferns[edit | edit source]
The Hooded Ferns would've had a similar function to the Large Ferns, which they were replaced by.
Needle Pile[edit | edit source]
The Needle Pile is an unimplemented item. It can be spawned via console using the code "pinepile"
Plant/Chomper[edit | edit source]
The Plant, also named Chomper in the code, is an unused plant with similar mechanics to the Anenemy. It was planned to be used in the Lush Caves. It can be spawned in-game.
Rat King[edit | edit source]
The Rat King was supposed to be found in the Ratacombs, a scrapped biome in the caves. It was first mentioned in a poll made by the Developers in Uncompromising Mode's Discord Server, in which the server members would vote to determine what mechanic would be revisted in the next update of the mod. The only sprite available for the Rat King is a joke placeholder made by Scrimbles.
- Rat King's sitting spot, similar to Pig King, but with Rat Totems instead of Obelisks.
Rat Totem[edit | edit source]
The Rat Totems are structures similar to Pig Torches that would've been used as illumination and ambiance for the Ratacombs.
Scrapper[edit | edit source]
The Scrapper is a teased/unimplemented Crock Pot type machine meant to help get rid of tools in an efficient way. You would have a chance to get materials based on the durability and item type when scrapping tools.
Items[edit | edit source]
Bearger Mask[edit | edit source]
The Bearger Mask is an unimplemented hat item that was supposed to be Bearger's Veteran's Curse Item. It has no art, but it can be spawned via console using the code "beager_mask". While equipped, it functions exactly like the Divining Rod, using the same sound and fx, and increasing in pitch and speed the close it gets to its targets. It searches for a list of pickable foods, which include Berries, Cave Bananas, Carrots, Red Caps, Blue caps and Green Caps.
Blowpipe[edit | edit source]
The Blowpipe is an unimplemented item that can be spawned via console using the code "uncompromising_blowgun"
Darts[edit | edit source]
Darts are unimplemented items that can be inserted as ammo in the Blowpipe, with each color corresponding to their original effects. They can each be spawned with the code "blowgunammo_(name of the element)", with the White Dart's element being "tooth" and Purple's "Sleep".
Carapace Cooler[edit | edit source]
The Carapace Cooler was a food item concept made by Axe, who described it as "A treat made with the Frozen Pincer, that allows the attacker to do some freezing damage on hit". It can still be spawned via console using the code "carapacecooler" and it's fully funcional, restoring 37.5 hunger, 15 sanity, 40 health and applying a buff to the player, that makes each attack add the equivalent of 1 Ice Staff blast to a mob. A few characters have unique quotes announcing when the buff starts.
Corvus Hat[edit | edit source]
The Corvus Hat is an unimplemented item that was added during the first Midsummer Cawnival Event, but it never got a method of getting it in-game. It can still be spawned via console, using the code "corvushat", and it's fully functional, with the ability of spawning birds periodically, based on the feather that is put inside it.
Death Stick[edit | edit source]
The Death Stick is an unimplemented weapon in-game, that uses the same textures as a Morning Star. It can be spawned via console with the code "deathstick". It deals 100000000 damage to anything the player attacks.
Long/Dark Boomberry Pancakes[edit | edit source]
Hidden sprites in the sprite sheet for Boomberry Pancakes.

Steel Sweater[edit | edit source]
The Steel Sweater is an equippable item made of Steel Wool. Originally described as "a body slot item that might act as seweble armor" by Saslol13.
Biomes[edit | edit source]
Ratacombs[edit | edit source]
The Ratacombs is a scrapped cave biome that was planned to be released in the Squeaky Clean update. It was cancelled due to burn out from the Developers while making the update.
- The Concept for the Ratacombs, made by Maradyne.
- Rat King's sitting spot, similar to Pig King, but with Rat Totems instead of Obelisks.
