Squeaky Clean is an update focusing on making the Rats unique and mechanically different from hound attacks.
New Additions[edit | edit source]
Mobs[edit | edit source]
- Pack Rats will show up in Rat Raids and can steal a lot more items than the regular Rats, but will avoid combat. They also have bonus loot!
- Pied Piper is new enemy that will guard Rat Burrows, and will summon, boost, and command nearby rats in a fight!
Night Terrors[edit | edit source]
- Random Night Events were Rebranded as Night Terrors
- Added 2 NEW music tracks for Night Terrors!
- Added several new shadow creatures that appear during Random Night Events (Night Terrors)
- Night Terrors will no longer repeat themselves randomly, instead, 6 unique Night Terrors need to happen before they can have a chance to happen again.
- Added many new Night Terrors.
Items[edit | edit source]
- Added over 20 masks that can be found during a specific new Night Terror. They last forever while Hallowed Nights is active.
- Rat Mask an item which will help locate Rat Burrows.
- Drowning Conch a craftable item that will summon rain (gained from killing the Crab King).
- Rainy Days book which will summon rain when read. Craftable by Wickerbottom.
- Sweetflower Wrap a craftable healing item.
- Driftwood Fishing Rod, a more durable Fishing Rod crafted with Driftwood.
- Pied Pipers Pipe a new item dropped from the Pied Piper that will make a few nearby rats allied to the player when played.
Misc[edit | edit source]
- Added new skins for the Ancient Soul Amulet, Cursed Antler, Feather Frock, and Plague Mask.
- The Ancient Soul Amulet has brand new art!
Balance Changes[edit | edit source]
Items[edit | edit source]
- Added custom Tool Tips for modified items! An icon appears in the crafting menu to indicate if an item has received changes.
- Ancient Soul Amulet now has 1000 hp of durability instead of 30 uses. It can only take 50 damage per attack
- The Naught Lock will no longer has durability and doesn't drain durability from items during the second hit.
- The Cursed Antler and Slobber Lobber now share Wanda's clock recharge meter.
- Tail O' Twined Rats no longer has random critical hits, now deals increased damage based on the players hunger, but also drains the players hunger on each hit.
- Buffed the Bearger Claw, Slobber Lobber, and Feather Frock.
- Reworked Bug Zapper and Morning Star durability and draining rate. No longer fuelable with Nitre, reworked fueling from electrical items.
- Increased wetness protection of the Rain Hat from 70% to 80%.
- Shield of Terror has double durability.
- The Shield of Terror and Eye Mask will no longer invert negative food values, instead, foods that give negative stats will be cancelled out, only healing the positive values. Doubled the durability of the Shield of Terror to compensate.
Mobs[edit | edit source]
- Rats
- Rats can now swim!
- Major improvements to Rat ai, and stealing behaviour.
- Rats can attack crops!
- Rat Raids no longer occur off of a timer, instead, a players base will be checked for messiness, and stale, spoiled, or rotten food, the worse the state of the base, the less time it takes for Rat Raids to arrive.
- Players now have warning lines to indicate what is effecting the Base Check the most.
- Rat Burrows can now spread out and create more Rat Burrows.
- Reworked Catcoon combat behaviours, more consistent drops.
- More Catcoon dens are guaranteed to generate in a world.
- When triggered, Clockwork Pawns will now force nearby pawns to retreat, disabling them from being triggered.
- Clockwork Amalgams can now spawn in retaliation to broken clockwork piles being destroyed.
- Spore Hound removed green gems from drops they now drio Shroom Skin Scrap at a 25% chance.
Boss[edit | edit source]
- Eyes of Terror
- The Eye of Terror can now shoot a Mini Eye projectile, which will deal damage and spawn a Mini Eye Egg on hit.
- Retinazor now has a laser attack, and will fire multiple lasers in a row during phase 2.
- Spazmatism now has a Cursed Flamethrower. Cursed Fire cannot be extinguished, and will deal more damage to the player than regular fire. Willow is not totally immune, but will take reduced damage. More fire is spewed in the second phase.
- Twins of Terror now scale their attack and minion spawning cooldowns based on how many players are nearby.
- All Eye of Terror bosses will fly away if another boss gets too close.
Characters[edit | edit source]
- Modified character perks are now detailed in the character select screen.
- New experimental Wanda changes, toning down the damage of the Alarming Clock, and increasing her Second Chance Watch Cooldown. Disabled by default.
- WX-78 has a new perk, being immune to Maximum Health Penalty from mobs.
- Favorite foods now give 15 bonus sanity instead of 15 bonus hunger.
Misc[edit | edit source]
- Lots of new Mod Configuration options!
- Players who glitch into the cave void will be dealt with appropriately.
- Reworked the Hooded Widow's behaviour and combat abilities, will be more aggressive and counter tanking more effectively.
- Added a new Silky Cocoon for the Suspicious Peeper, which will drop Milky Whites when destroyed.
- Changed the Grass Gator Silky Cocoon from Tier 2 to Tier 3.
Bug Fixes[edit | edit source]
- Improved mod and skin compatibility for several items modified by Uncompromising Mode.
- The Moon Tear will no longer appear every night if Moon Storms are active in the world.
- Feather Frock tornadoes no longer damage other players or companions.
- Fixed Stumpling/Birchling ambushes not functioning properly.
- Fixed the Koalefant stomp attack from dealing 200 damage to the intended 50 damage.
- Clockwork Pawns will no longer spawn unless they are off screen.
- Fixed issue where Wargs weren't spawning in hound waves after the first time.
- Moon Tear will no longer wet players if stored in a water proof container.
