Set Pieces are rare, naturally spawned structures and items. Players can usually find valuable Items in the Set Piece, however, some Set Pieces function as a trap.

Uncompromising Mode introduces a system known as "Uncompromising Mode Super Spawner", or "UMSS" for short. This system allows the easy creation and spawning of custom set pieces. And is how most set pieces in Uncompromising Mode are handled.

Set Pieces controlled by UMSS can be manually spawned in by first entering c_spawn("umss_general") whilst hovering your cursor over where you wish the set piece to be. An empty sign will spawn, you can then enter the internal name of the set piece to spawn it in. A full list of set pieces can be found by writing GiveTable on the umss_general sign.

Base Fragment: Rat Storage[edit | edit source]

Base Fragment- Rat Storage.jpg

This setpiece contains a series of 6 chests and a wardrobe partially sourrounded by wooden walls and fence. A single rat spawns nearby, though it is guaranteed to run off.

Moon Fragment[edit | edit source]

Moon Fragment Set piece.jpg

This setpiece contains a wide scattering of moon crater turf, a moonrock boulder, several moon glass boulders and Lune trees, a pair of celestial fissures, and a single stone fruit bush.
This set piece may be valuable if you're playing a character with special perks locked behind lunar resources; but not celestial alter crafting. Such as crafting Wigfrid's Clear Mind Cadenza.

Bad Farmer[edit | edit source]

Bad Farmer.jpg

a simple boon containing a Skeleton, a hoe, and a removed Basic Farm holding a toasted seeds item.

SOS[edit | edit source]

SOS.jpg

This setpiece has a large SOS carved into the Sahvanna. A skeleton can be found with a torch and a flare beside it.

Smelly Kitchen[edit | edit source]

Smelly Kitchen.jpg

This set piece contains a fridge, a drying rack, an end table, 2 stacks of 2 rot, and 2 potted ferns within close proximity to one another.

This setpiece references how end tables and potted ferns used to be able to mitigate rat score from stale and rotted foods. However, that mechanic was later removed.

Ancient Walrus[edit | edit source]

Ancient Walrus.jpg

This set piece contains a floral shirt, a blow dart, a piece of rot, and a red mosiac tile surrounded by several rusty Snap-Traps.

Due to Floral shirts spoiling, it is unlikely that this item will be practical to most players. Unless they were to rush Bee Queen and unlock Bundling Wraps

Wixie's Puzzle[edit | edit source]

It's nothing! Absolutely nothing to worry about. Nothing suspicious here!
???

Eh? What's all this then? Doesn't matter, probably just the work of some naughty trickster.

Shy's Bee Farm.[edit | edit source]

Shy's bee farm..jpg

This deciduous set piece contains a bee box surrounded on 3 sides by fences, with a flower on the open end and a pig torch on the closed end.

I'm quite certain there's a specific reason for this setup. But I couldn't tell you.

Grass Trap[edit | edit source]

GRAAAAAASSSSS.jpg

This set piece spawns in the sahvanna and contains several tufts of grass and wide grass. Plus an additional inconspicuous Mound.

If you don't mind the natives, this set piece will give you 60 grass in a relatively short amount of time and in a small area.

Mox[edit | edit source]

Mox.jpg

A simple set piece found in the savanna containing a rabbit stew, a bunny puff, and a top hat.

This set piece is a reference to Discord user Mox, active member in the Uncompromising Mode Discord server.

Fool Trap[edit | edit source]

Wes is Dead Crab Rave.jpg

this swamp set piece has a skeleton of Wes in the center, surrounded by several of his balloons and balloon crafts. Along with a large amount of both reeds and tentacles.

Impactful Discovery[edit | edit source]

Impactful Discovery.jpg

This set piece is an old base completely decimated by a meteor strike. It contains boards, rope, rocks, twigs, flint, charcoal, cutstone, a skeleton, a grass suit, and a moonrock boulder all surrounded by whatever's left of the walls.

Moon Oil[edit | edit source]

Moon Oil Set Piece.jpg

This set piece holds a skeleton, a baggy of moon oil, and a patch of wilted berry bushes.

The bushes are of the 3-leaved variety, so builders may get value out of this.

Single Father[edit | edit source]

Friends setpiece -).jpg

This rocky biome set piece contains a fire pit, a skeleton, a rotten giant Durian, and a pair of Hardy Peepers.

The hardy peepers will "imprint" on the first player to approach them. Following them and aiding in combat.

This setpiece showcases the existance of Hardy Peepers while also hinting at the recipe of Stuffed Peeper Poppers

Hooded Graveyard[edit | edit source]

Hooded Graveyard..jpg

A small graveyard found in the hooded forest. Includes a spear and several grass tufts.

This set piece is NOT part of UMSS and is instead handled by the Hooded Forest's generation directly.

Hooded Rose Garden[edit | edit source]

Hooded Rose Garden..jpg

A small rose garden built around the lost doll.

This set piece is NOT part of UMSS and is instead handled by the Hooded Forest's generation directly.

Failed Fisherman.jpg

This ocean set piece contains a well-stocked boat, holding a mast, a steering wheel, an anchor, a tin fishin' bin, a rain hat, a summer frest, several rotted fish, a sea fishing rod, and a night flyer nightflier spoon.

Sunken Boat[edit | edit source]

A Sunken Boat setpiece, including a failed attempt at a photobomb from a friendly Rockjaw Shark.

This set piece contains four Boat Fragments along with several pieces of rope and silk, a driftwood piece, a bone shard, a set of fashion goggles, and a fishing net.

Trident Trap[edit | edit source]

Trident Trap.jpg

This set piece consists of a boat holding a Skeleton, a Sea wreath, and a Strident Trident surrounded by Sea Stacks and Sea Weeds. Despite being referred to as "Trap", the player is at no risk for boarding the vessel and grabbing the treasure. Though getting there in the first place may prove difficult.
