This is the list of all the Items that already exist in Don't Starve Together that have been modified by Uncompromising Mode in some way. Just like the base game, many of these changes are configurable and can be disabled or personalized to one's liking.
Craftable Items and Structures[edit | edit source]
Tools[edit | edit source]
Clean Sweeper
- If the mod "[API] Modded Skins" is enabled, it can change the skin of the following items:
Cursed Antler turns into

Compass
- Crafting recipe changed to 2 Gold and 2 Flint; originally 1 Gold and 1 Flint.
- Can now be used while in the inventory.
- Consumes durability while in the inventory.
- Increased durability to 5 days; originally 4 days.
Feather Pencil
- Can now rename Wanda's Rift/Backtreck Watches and Telelocator Focus.
- Added ×4 per craft.
Hostile Flare
- Cannot summon Deerclops.
- Now summons Malbatross if nearby a Shoal.
- The Hostile Flare can still summon Pirate Raids.
Sewing Kit
- Increased durability to 10 Uses; originally 5.
- Reduced the effect repair to 2.5 Days; originally 5.
- The Sewing Kit may be used to repair the following items:

Walking Cane
- Cane Durability (Off by default)
- Loses durability as the player walks.
- Increased drop rate of MacTusk's Walrus Tusk to 100%, originally 50%; and Tam o' Shanter to 50%, originally 25%.
- Increased drop rates only if the config is enabled.

Waterfowl Can
- Added 4 inventory slots for Ocean Fish.
- When filled with water, it halts the spoilage of the Fishes inside of it.
Light Sources[edit | edit source]
Moggles
- Prevents movement speed and visibility reduction in Snowstorms, Sandstorms and Moonstorms.
Torch
- Prevents movement speed and visibility reduction in Snowstorms.
- During Winter, lighting things on fire costs ~7% durability.
Refined Materials[edit | edit source]
Enlightened Crown Shard
- Recipe obtained by deconstructing the Enlightened Crown. Requires 1 Infused Moon Shard, 2 Moongleams and 1 Light Bulb.
Ice
- Crafted with 4 Snowballs. Requires a Science Machine.
Restrained Static
- Recipe obtained by killing the Celestial Champion. Requires 2 Moongleams and 2 Gold Nuggets.
Shroom Skin
- Needs 4 Shroom Skin Scraps and 2 Frog Legs to craft. Requires an Alchemy Engine.
Weapons[edit | edit source]
Ham Bat
- Reduced spoilage time to 8 days; originally 10.
- Reduced minimum damage to 14.85 (-75%); originally 29.75 (-50%).
- Can be traded to the Pig King for 1 Gold Nugget.
- Is now considered a Horrible Food, meaning some creatures will eat it if left on the ground.
Morning Star
- No longer breaks when at 0% durability. Instead, it loses its electric damage and light radius.
- Can be refueled with charged Lightning Rods and Winona's Generators.
- When placed on the ground, the Morning Star attracts Lightning. When struck, it gains 33% fuel.
- Protects the wielder against Lightning strikes.
Armor[edit | edit source]
Cookie Cutter Cap
- Attackers are dealt 75% of the damage caused onto the player.
- When attacked, the Cookie Cutter Cap shoots spikes in a small radius.
- These spikes deal 5 damage to all mobs around the player within a radius of ?.
Marble Suit
- Provides Knockback immunity.
Scalemail
- Removed 3.3
/min.
- Increased durability to 1500; originally 945.
- Summons 3 "Dimvae", special and invincible Lavae which will follow and assist the wearer in combat.
- Deals 37.5 damage. 4-second attack period. 3.6 attack range.
- If the wearer has less than 25% Health, Dimvae will instead kamikaze to attack, leaving a puddle of flames.
- Dimvae will respawn 8 seconds later after exploding.
- Dimvae will immediately despawn as soon as the Scalemail is unequipped.

Clothing[edit | edit source]
Fashion Goggles
- Crafting recipe changed to 4 Gold, 1 Pig Skin, 2 Hound's Teeth; originally 1 Gold, 1 Pig Skin.
Feather Hat
- Prevents Pengulls from drawing aggression onto the wearer.
Top Hat
- Using magic items consumes 20% less sanity while worn.
- Ice and Fire staves consume 50% less sanity.
Healing[edit | edit source]
Booster Shot
- Crafting recipe changed to 4 Red Caps, 2 Nitre and 1 Stinger; originally 8 Rot, 2 Nitre and 1 Stinger.
- Now heals 50% of lost Maximum Health over 50 seconds; originally restored 25% Maximum Health immediately.
- Sleeping Items
Telltale Heart
- Crafting recipe changed to 1 Long Pig, 1 Spider Gland, 40
; originally 3 Grass, 1 Spider Gland, 40

- Can be traded with Pig King for 2 Gold Nuggets.

Shadow Magic[edit | edit source]
Lazy Deserter
- When channeled, the Lazy Deserter will teleport various resources to the player's inventory.
- Resources include dropped items and resource nodes such as Berry Bushes, Honey Boxes, and Rice Plants.
- Picking deployable resource nodes costs an additional -1
per pick, while picking items is for free.
- When channeled, the Lazy Deserter will teleport various resources to the player's inventory.
Life Giving Amulet
- Renamed to "Lesser Life Amulet".
- No longer can be haunted to revive ghosts. This perk has been moved to the Ancient Soul Amulet.
- Must be equipped before death to be "revived".
- Regeneration and Hunger drain no longer interacts with Wanda and Shadow Wathom.
- No longer breaks at 0% durability.
- Can be refueled with Nightmare Fuel to restore 25% durability.
- Increased heal rate to 50
/minute; originally 10
/minute.
- If the wearer is at 50% Health or lower, the heal rate increases further.
Moon Dial
- Can fill up Watering Cans at anytime.
- When inserted with a Moon Tear, it'll transform itself.
- In this form, items can be given during a full moon to mutate them to their lunar counterparts, if possible.
Nightmare Amulet
- Crafting recipe changed to 3 Gold Nuggets, 2 Nightmare Fuel, 1 Purple Gem; originally 6 Gold Nuggets, 4 Nightmare Fuel, 2 Purple Gems.
- Spawns Nightmare Creatures that may drop 1-2 extra Nightmare Fuel.
- Induced insanity does not spawn the Creeping Fear.
Telelocator Focus
- Changed crafting recipe to 4 Nightmare Fuel, 4 Living Logs, 8 Gold and 3 Purple Gems; originally 4 Nightmare Fuel, 4 Living Logs, and 8 Gold.
- No longer consumes Purple Gems upon Teleportation.
Telelocator Staff
- Right clicking it now opens a menu of all the Telelocator Focuses in the world if there's more than one, then the player can choose where to teleport the next entities they cast the spell on.
- Increased uses to 15; originally 5.
- Players and Mobs consume 3 uses per teleport, Heavy Objects (Statues, Giant crops, etc.) consume 2 uses per teleport, and items on the ground consume 1 use per teleport.
- Can no longer teleport Bosses.
Decorations[edit | edit source]
Dreadstone Wall
- Now slowly repair themselves up to the nearest level above 0.
- Now has planar defense.
Scaled Flooring
- Melts Snow Piles on top of it.
- Similar to Cobblestones, it will speed up the player by 30%.
Storage Solutions[edit | edit source]
Piggyback
- Removed passive -10% movement speed.
- Added -1% movement speed per occupied slot, stacking up to -12%.
Seed Pack-It
- Crafting recipe changed to 2 Broken Shells, 1 Wax Paper, 2 Seeds; originally 3 Broken Shells, 4 Cut Grass, 2 Seeds.
- Can store infinite seed stacksizes.
Wardrobe
- Can be used as a container with 25 slots.
- Generally only accepts weapons, tools, and equippable items, with the addition of some special cases.

Cooking[edit | edit source]
Crock Pot
- Many dishes were given substantial changes.
- The usability of Monster Meat has been revamped, and extra non-monster meat must be used to not make Monster Lasagna.
- Using too much Ice, Twigs, Foliage, and Butterfly Wings may instead produce undesirable results.
Food & Gardening[edit | edit source]
Bee Box
- Crafting recipe reduced to require 2 Bees; originally 4.
- Reduced capacity to 2 Bees; originally 4.
- Reduced maximum harvest to 3 Honey; originally 6.
- Collecting honey from a Bee box will hurt the player.
- The damage can only be mitigated by a Beekeeper Hat, losing durability instead.
- During Autumn and Summer, players will take 10 damage, Walter Players will take 20, Beekeeper Hat will lose 20 Durability.
- During Spring, players will take 20 damage, Walter Players will take 30, Beekeeper Hat will lose 40 Durability.
- During Winter, players won't take any damage.
- Wormwood with the Bee Kind Skill will not take any damage.
Composting Bin
- Crafting recipe changed to 3 Boards, 2 Twigs and 1 Grass; originally 3 Boards, 1 Rot and 1 Grass.
- Increased maximum storage to 24; originally 6.
Mushroom Planter
- Crafting recipe changed to 4 Compost, 5 Manure and 2 Living Logs; originally 8 Rot, 5 Manure and 2 Living Logs.
- Can now be fertilized even if they are not fully depleted, with a maximum of 4 harvests.
- Can now be fertilized with multiple resources:
- Compost (restores 1 harvest);
- Gloomer's Goop (restores 2 harvests);
- Compost Wrap (restores 3 harvests);
- Tree Jam (restores 4 harvests);
- Living Log (restores 4 harvests).
Seafaring[edit | edit source]
Kelp Bumper Kit
- Durability was buffed to 26.6; originally 20 durability.
- Now regenerate 5 health every 30 seconds.
Steering Wheel Kit
- Increased turning speed by 1.25x.
- Turn speed increases the faster the boat sails.
Nautopilot Kit and Nautopilot Beacon
- Fizzled wires replaced with Scrap on the crafting recipe.
- Now better at keeping up at higher speeds.
Beefalo Riding[edit | edit source]
Glossamer Saddle
- Crafting recipe changed to 2 Living Logs, 4 Silk, 1 Glommer's Wings; originally 2 Living Logs, 4 Silk, 68 Butterfly Wings.
Winter Items[edit | edit source]
Hibearnation Vest
- Provides immunity to Snowstorm's slow down effect.
- Negates Wetness gain from walking on top of Snow Piles
Breezy Vest
- Now has 6 inventory slots.
- Increased Wetness resistance to 30%; originally 20%.
- Increased insulation to 120; originally 60.
Cat Cap
- Crafting recipe changed to 4 Cat Tails, 4 Silk; originally 1 Cat Tails, 4 Silk.
- Increased has 120 insulation; originally 60.
Thermal Stone
- Reduced insulation to 30; originally 120.
- Gains insulation based on the player character's clothing at 50% efficiency.
- Example: If the player is wearing a Winter Hat (120), the Thermal Stone's insulation becomes 90.
- Example: If the player is wearing a Beefalo Hat (240) + Puffy Vest (240), the Thermal Stone's insulation becomes 270.
Summer Items[edit | edit source]
Desert Goggles
- Can be prototyped with an Alchemy Engine.
- Prevents visibility reduction during Blizzards.
Ice Flingomatic
- Option 1: No longer freezes (Default)
- Snowballs can't freeze mobs.
- Option 2: Fuel loss in use
- Snowballs consume ? units of fuel.
- Increased fuel capacity by 20%.
- Option 1: No longer freezes (Default)
Thermal Measurer
- Starts glowing with a lighter red shade when a Heatwave is close to starting in Summer.
Thermal Stone
- Reduced insulation to 30; originally 120.
- Сannot be cooled with a Watering Can or a Waterfowl Can
- Gains insulation based on the player character's clothing at 50% efficiency.
- Example: If the player is wearing Desert Goggles (120), the Thermal Stone's insulation becomes 90.
- Example: If the player is wearing an Ice Cube (240) + Floral Shirt (240), the Thermal Stone's insulation becomes 270.
Rain Gear[edit | edit source]
Eyebrella
- Option 1: Lower insulation (Default)
- Reduced Summer insulation to 60; originally 240.
- Option 2: Unrepairable (Experimental)
- Can't be repaired with a Sewing Kit, but can be fueled with Milky Whites.
- Durability increased to 12 days; originally 9.
- Is not affected by Clothing Degradation.
- Option 1: Lower insulation (Default)
Lightning Rod
- A charged Lightning Rod can repair 33% durability of the Morning Star and Bug Zapper.
- WX-78 can recharge themselves and their weapon at the same time.
- Using the Lightning Rod deals -3
and -10
.
- Can be ignored by equipment with electric insulation and WX-78.
- A charged Lightning Rod can repair 33% durability of the Morning Star and Bug Zapper.
Rainometer
- If the player interacts with the Rainometer while a Tornado is happening in the World, it will reveal the Tornado's location on the map momentarily while standing close to it.
Umbralla
- Now has 150% Wetness Protection; originally 100%.
- The area-of-effect dome now protects against Tornadoes and Snowstorms.
Ancient Pseudoscience[edit | edit source]
Magiluminescence
- No longer breaks at 0% durability. Instead, it loses its movement speed boost and light radius.
Pick/Axe
- Reduced damage to 27.2; originally 42.5.
- Mining/chopping creates a shockwave, mining/chopping all other nodes within a radius of ?.
- The shockwave doesn't have the Pick/Axe's +33% mining/chopping efficiency.
The Lazy Explorer
- Lazy Explorer no longer has durability, but instead has cooldown, like Wanda's watches. (Off by default)
The Lazy Forager
- Increased range.
- Increased refuel value to 40% durability; originally 22%.
- Will harvest resources nodes such as Berry Bushes and Grass Tufts.
- Costs 0.25 Sanity when performed.
- Resource nodes that would normally deal damage, such as Spiky Bushes, when harvested will have the damage be ignored.
Thulecite Suit
- Provides Knockback immunity.
- Provides 30% resistance versus insanity auras.

Moon rock Idol
- Crafting recipe changed to 1 Purple Gem, 5 Moon Rocks; originally 1 Purple Gem, 1 Moon Rock.
Bottle Exchange[edit | edit source]
Lure Bundle
- Contains 4 random Spoons and Spinnerbaits
- Can be bought for 1 Empty Bottle.
- Unlocked at level 1.
Drowning Conch
- Can be bought for 1 Dormant Conch, 3 Spittlefish and 2 Empty Bottles.
- Unlocked at level 8.
- Can be bought for 1 Dormant Conch, 3 Spittlefish and 2 Empty Bottles.

Beefalo Horn
- Can be used in the Crock Pot
- Has a Meat value of 1.0.
- Can be used in the Crock Pot
Bone Helm
- Induced insanity does not spawn the Creeping Fear.
- Grants immunity versus shadow projectiles.
Captain's Tricorn
- Now works against Crab King's attacks, and Imposing Claws.
- Increases turning speed.
Shield of Terror
- Increase durability to 735; originally 315.
- Increased damage to 59.5; originally 51.
- Increased damage resistance to 85%; originally 80%.
Shelmet
- Reduced damage resistance to 85%; originally 90%.
- Increased drop rate to 50%; originally 10%.
Snurtle Shell Armor
- Provides Knockback immunity while hiding.
