Snowballs can be obtained by killing Abominamoles or digging Snow Piles.
They can be thrown like water balloons. They don't deal damage, but do draw enemy aggro and can freeze mobs after enough snow balls hit them.
They have the same properties as ice, meaning that it will last forever in an ice box and can be used to refill a single use of an watering can. It also gets the prefix "Melting" and "Melted" instead of "Stale" and "Spoiled".

Tips[edit | edit source]
- Throwing two snowballs in quick succession is enough to freeze birds. This can be used to farm Azure Feathers during winter.
