Pyre Mantle is a craftable armor item . It requires 5 Fire Nettle Fronds and 1 Silk to craft, and an Alchemy Engine to prototype.
It absorbs 60% of physical damage and 33% fire damage. Instead of having durability, it has a spoilage timer that lasts for 5 days, but the timer will be reduced by 1% of the damage that was blocked by the armor (for example, if a mob deals 100 damage, then the armor will block 40 damage, meaning its spoilage will be reduced it by 2 days), and equipping the armor will also waste 0.25 days of spoilage every time.
When worn, the player will be affected by Pyre Nettle Toxin for 3 seconds, which instantly sets the Player's temperature close to overheating (64°), and increase it each second for the 3 seconds it lasts.
While equipped, the Player turns immune to Pyre Nettle Toxin from outside sources, like from Pyre Nettles.
If left on the floor, it can catch on fire, but it won't be destroyed when the fire finishes.

FOR PLAYERS
- Increases temperature up to 64.
- Adds the same temperature mod as fire nettles.
FOR MOBS:
- Deals 1.2 DPS
- Panics.
Tips[edit | edit source]
- Try to use the Pyre Mantle sparingly, since equipping the armor wastes 0.25 days of spoilage, taking it off means it won't last that long.
