The Salt Shaker 3000 is a chest-slot item which requires 1 Gear, 2 Boards, 4 Salt Crystals and an Alchemy Engine to prototype. When equipped, the player can activate it by right-clicking it in their chest slot. The Salt Shaker 3000 will not be destroyed when depleted to 0%. Salt Crystals restore 48 uses (60%).
While active, the Salt Shaker 3000 will produce Piles of Salt where the player-character stands at a rate of ?. The Salt Shaker will not produce any Piles of Salt if there is another Pile of Salt within a radius of ?. They remove and prevent Snow Piles within a radius of ?. They apply ? Stress points to crops within a radius of ?. They last for 20 days or until it rains.
It is a barrel-like machine with a metal pipe with a bell at its top.

- The Salt Shaker 3000 is able to keep large bases clean of Snow Piles throughout the whole Winter.

- The Salt Shaker 3000 was added in the Goodies Galore update.
- In the update poster it's incorrectly named "Salt Pack" which is its prefab name and not its in-game name.
