The Rat Mask is a craftable Hat Item that requires 2 Rope, 3 Beard Hair and 1 Sewing Kit to craft and an Alchemy Engine to prototype.
While a player is wearing the Rat Mask, they'll be able to see items in their base that are affecting current Rat Score and will periodically point towards every Rat Burrow present in the world. This information is invaluable for preventing Rat Raids from happening, helping the player get rid of problematic items and destroying rat burrows. It will also prevent the player from taking Max Health Penalty damage from Mobs like Rats and Spore Hounds while worn, similar to WX-78.
The mask will not point towards burrows made by Winky.
Wearing the Rat mask prevents the player from becoming slowed down during a Snowstorm or a Sandstorm and increases visibility.

- The Rat Mask was added in the Squeaky Clean update.
- Both Wanda's and Woodie's own quote imply that Woodie is the one who created and possibly came up with the idea of the Rat Mask.
