The Spore Pack is a type of Backpack that requires 1 Shroom Skin, 2 Ropes, and 2 Rots and an Alchemy Engine to prototype. It has 14 inventory slots, the same amount as the Krampus Sack, but perishable items contained within will spoil two times faster. While equipped, the Spore Pack will release a rotting puff every 3 seconds, reducing the spoilage of items inside it, in the player's inventory and around the player (Including the inventory of other players) by 0.005% of the item's maximum spoilage time and refreshing th spoilage of spores for the same amount (For example, a seed lasts for 40 days, meaning that each puff will decrease its spoilage by 0.2 days).

It cannot be placed in the inventory or in containers.

It's non-flammable and also waterproof.

Tips

• The Spore Pack spoils items inside it faster than in the player's normal inventory, so make sure you don't put your perishables inside it.
• Items with a long spoil time, such as seeds or honey, will be more impacted than other perishables, spoiling much faster.
• Filling the Spore Pack with tools and crafting materials is a useful strategy to prevent picked up edibles from going inside it.

Trivia

• The Spore Pack was added in the Goodies Galore update.
• The rapid spoilage component of the Spore Pack is based on Toadstool's spore clouds.
• Originally the Spore Pack had 16 slots and only required one Shroom Skin.
• Wolfgang's quote used to be "Did Wolfgang fart?", but it was later changed to "Mushroom bag stinks!".
