Moon Tear
–Wurt
The Moon Tear will spawn near the player during a full moon. It falls to the earth like a meteor, it can hit the player for 17 damage, but causes no damage to creatures or structures. After landing it will sit on the ground and do nothing.
When held in your inventory it will gradually increase your wetness by 3 every second, up to a maximum of 50. This can be useful during Summer, especially for Wurt and Wormwood, since they don't lose sanity for being wet.
The Moon Tear can be put inside of the Moon Dial to make it gain the ability to transform items to their lunar counterparts, like Dragonfruit into Saladmanders. During a full moon, the player can also give the Moon Tear to the Moon Stone (which can now be found in the Hooded Forest). After doing that, a beam of light comes from the sky, and the player has to do a shorter and easier version of the Moon Stone event. When completed, the Moon Tear becomes an Iridescent Gem. This process doesn't damage the Moon Stone, and can be done repeatedly as long as it's still a full moon.
