Large Fern can be found abundantly in the Hooded Forest. They can be harvested for 2 Hooded Foliage and a 20% chance for either one grass or twigs. Large Fern can be dug up with a shovel to receive foliage and a guaranteed chance for either grass or twigs. They are destroyed upon being dug up.
Large Fern will not regrow in Winter, although if left unpicked can be harvested during that time
The Aphid is a hostile mob that can occasionally spawn from a Large Fern while the player is near.
Tips[edit | edit source]
- Because so many spawn in the hooded forest, it's easy to collect large amounts of foliage and use it for cheap healing early on.

- Large Fern originally used the the recoloured sprite of the Spotty Shrub from the Gorge.
