A Rice/Lice Plant is a harvestable plant typically found in the waters of Marsh biomes. It can be harvested to receive 1 Rice/Lice. Once cut, it will need 3 days to regrow, but will not regrow during winter.

Unharvested Rice/Lice Plant will collide with Boats, but once harvested, boats can sail over them. When a Boat collides with a Rice/Lice Plant, it will drop Rice/Lice Grains as if it was harvested. If a Rice/Lice Plant grows when a Boat is over it, there's a chance it will either grow inside the boat or be destroyed entirely, but if the Boat is positioned to have the Plants stay in the edges of the Boat, they will be auto-harvested off-screen for a while. Care is needed when doing this, as it risks losing non-renewable Rice/Lice Plants.

Rice/Lice Plants cannot be dug up and relocated like Grass Tufts or Saplings. They are flammable and will leave behind 1 Ashes when burned. They also cannot be uprooted, such as by Bearger.
