Rice Grains are a Vegetable harvested from Rice Plants. They cannot be eaten raw, but will never spoil. They can be used as an ingredient in several Crock Pot recipes and is required for Liceloaf and Seafood Paella.

Burnt Rice is obtained by cooking rice grains over a fire. It makes rice edible, restores 12.5 hunger and 1 health and It takes 3 days to spoil. It has the same Crock Pot uses as raw rice grains.

Trivia
- It will sometimes swap the "R" in it's name with an "L", which makes it lice.
- This may be a reference to Meal Lice in Oxygen not Included, which has a similar appearance.
- Rice is one of the few foods that never spoils, making it a good candidate for winter stockpiling.
- Actually preparing and cooking rice involves cooking rice with boiling water. When properly cooked, it appears to be a soft, white and, fluffy grain.
