The Boomberry is a fruit food item that grows from Boomberry Plants found in the Hooded Forest. They restore 1 Health and 12.5 Hunger when eaten, as well as adding 5 Wetness to the player. They cannot be cooked on a fire.
Sometimes when digging a Boomberry Plant, a Fruit Bat will spawn instead of dropping a Boomberry.
It can be used in a Crock Pot to make Boomberry Pancakes, a recipe which restores a large amount of hunger, and Gloomberry Jam, Which summons special Viperlings to fight for you temporarily.

- Their appearance is based on the real life blueberry.
- This is further supported by its code name, "giant_blueberry".
