Wilting Dragonfly also known as Summerfly or Wiltfly, is Uncompromising Mode's version of Dragonfly from the Don't Starve Reign of Giants DLC, spawning like any other seasonal giants and working differently from the Raid Boss Dragonfly.

Wilting Dragonfly will only come after the player in Summer. If Raid Boss Dragonfly is alive, she will despawn from her lava arena from the rest of the Season. During this time the normal Raid Boss fight is unavailable.

If she is to spawn during a full moon, she may instead spawn as Moonmaw Dragonfly.

When killed, Wilting Dragonfly drops Scales, 8 Meat, and a Slobber Lobber.

Behavior

The Wilting Dragonfly will keep following the player no matter how far they go, and stay neutral for as long as she is not attacked or approached. She will still spit lava on various objects turning them to Ashes, but unlike her RoG counterpart, she can eat any quantity of those Ashes without falling asleep.

She immediately enrages when engaged in combat, after being attacked 2-3 times she will perform a fiery stomp, otherwise she will perform a normal swing or one of her special moves. She has a telegraphed charge attack that leaves a fire trail behind, she executes this 2-3 times in a row, and She also has a lava spit attack, with a long wind up to spit out fireballs at the player that leave lava ponds behind.

Tips

• She likes to light things on fire, so it's a good idea to make sure you have something to put them out or dispose of her quickly.
• Since she moves on her normal attack, it is advised to either bring a good amount of armor to endure the hits, or extra speed/teleportation.
• 20 Gunpowder and a Pan Flute can easily kill her.
• if you really need to heal or a bit of time run away and she will deagro, She can agro again if you get too close to her at any point.
